清麗戦予選決勝，甲斐智美女流五段vs加藤桃子女流三段戦，
加藤女流三段の勝利，加藤女流三段が本戦トーナメント一番乗り。
甲斐女流五段は再挑戦トーナメントへの最後の参加者となります。
歴史が浅いとは言え，予選全勝者は挑戦者になれないという
ジンクスがあります。加藤女流三段が清麗を奪取した第3期の予選優勝者は，
香川愛生女流四段で，香川女流四段を本戦初戦で下してからのタイトルでした。
カトモモこと加藤女流三段がこのジンクスを打破できるのかが注目ですね。
竜王戦2組昇級者決定戦，鈴木大介九段vs糸谷哲郎八段戦，
糸谷八段が勝ちました。鈴木九段は3組に降級となります。
糸谷八段は藤井猛九段vs豊島将之九段戦の敗者との対局。
竜王戦4組ランキング戦準々決勝，大石直嗣七段vs船江恒平六段戦，
大石七段が勝ち，次局は高野智史六段との対局です。
同じく4組ランキング戦準々決勝，戸辺誠七段vs本田奎五段戦は
本田五段の勝利。次局は渡辺大夢六段vs池永天志五段戦の勝者との対局。
王座戦二次予選決勝，羽生善治九段vs佐藤康光九段戦，
羽生九段が勝って，本戦入りを決めました。
王将戦一次予選，三浦弘行九段vs井出隼平五段戦は
井出五段が勝ち，次局は藤井九段との対局です。
藤井九段vs三浦九段の群馬ダービー実現ならず。
囲碁の本因坊戦，毎日新聞社より大幅な規模縮小が
報じられました。天元，碁聖とともに将棋と被らない独自感がある
タイトルだけに，誠に残念ですね。
