本日のオーストラリアンオープン，西岡選手，杉田選手ともにシード選手を
撃破して，２回戦に進みました。もう一回勝つと三回戦が日本人対決になります。
杉田選手の相手はカルロビッチ選手なので，タイブレークで仕留める
パターンになりそうです。西岡選手はイタリアのセッピ選手ですが，
勝つ可能性はかなり高いと思っています。その一方で，アメリア勢にとっては
受難の日でもありました。男子シングルスでは，ソック選手，イスナー選手が
負けてしまいましたし，女子シングルスでは，ヴィーナス選手，スティーブン選手，
バンダウェイ選手が負けてしまいました。
ヴィーナスvsベンチッチ戦，戦前の予想では94対6でヴィーナス選手となっていましたが，
さすがにそれはベンチッチ選手を過小評価しすぎだなあと感じていました。
ホップマン・カップではその復調ぶりが確認できました。お行儀の悪さは
ヒンギス選手譲りですが，少しでも個人成績を近づけてほしいものですわ。
昨晩のアーセナルはチームとしての機能がかなり低下していることを
認識させられる形でボーンマスに逆転負け。噂通り，アレクシス選手は
