秒読みの中で，詰ますことができず，西山女流三冠の逆転勝ち。
王位戦リーグ，菅井竜也八段が齊籐優希四段に勝ち，
これがリーグ戦初白星で，両者ともに1勝2敗となりました。
全敗対決となった杉本和陽六段vs佐々木勇気八段戦，
佐々木勇気八段が勝ち，初白星，1勝2敗としました。
負けた杉本六段は0勝3敗となりました。
棋聖戦決勝トーナメント，高見泰地七段が佐藤天彦九段に勝ち，
準決勝へ。
棋王戦予選，藤本渚七段が宮本広志六段に勝ち，
柵木幹太四段が待つ予選準決勝へ。

村上宗隆選手がホームインして，1点差に迫るも届かず，2-1で敗戦。
昨シーズンのワールドシリーズカード，ドジャースがブルージェイズ相手に
打線が爆発して，2-14と大勝しました。
ブルージェイズの岡本和真選手，きれいなトンネルを披露してしまいました。
大差がついたため，両チームとも野手が投手を務めました。
