上田初美女流五段(6)が伊藤沙恵女流四段(4)に土をつけ，両者，4勝1敗。
女子カーリング世界選手権
日本は，3位決定戦，スウェーデン相手に第9エンドでコンシード，
銅メダル獲得ならず。スウェーデンのチームは初出場で銅メダル。
スウェーデンの意図しないスーパーショットが5点のビッグエンドに
つながり，日本は悔しい敗戦となりました。
決勝，スイスがカナダに勝ち，金メダル，カナダが銀メダル。
結果として，金メダルのスイスに唯一土をつけたのが日本という
結果となりました。
