第6シードのペグラ選手相手にストレート負けで敗退となりました。
第5シードのリバキナ選手は第21シードのメルテンス選手にストレート勝ち。
第2シードのシフィオンテク選手が予選上がりのオーストラリアのイングリス選手相手に
ストレート勝ち。

男子シングルス，第5シードのムゼッティ選手が第9シードのフリッツ選手相手に
ストレート勝ち。準々決勝ではジョコビッチ選手との対戦となります。
第2シードのシナー選手が第22シードの同胞ダルデリ選手にストレート勝ち。
第8シードのシェルトン選手が第12シードのルード選手に第1セットを落とすも
3-1と逆転勝ち。シェルトン選手は準々決勝，シナー選手との対戦。
