Organizers are expecting millions of people to take part in over 2,500 demonstrations nationwide. Protesters say they are standing up to US President Donald Trump's authoritarian policies, declaring that America doesn't have a king and accusing Trump of believing his rule is absolute. Several million protesters joined a similar mass demonstration in June, one of the largest in US history. Top Republicans have condemned the gatherings.
