まさかのストレート負け，予選上がりのバジェロット選手が決勝へ。
バチェロット選手，204位から優勝すれば，トップ40に入ってきます。
もうひとつの準決勝，ランデルクネク選手が第16シードの
メドベージェフ選手にフルセットの末，勝ち，決勝進出。
なんと決勝はバチェロットvsランデルクスネ戦というノーシード対決に。

白玲戦第5局，先手番の西山朋佳女流二冠が勝ち，3勝2敗として，
