大会二連覇を達成しました。

女子3位決定戦，日本は2セットダウンから最終セットまで勝負を持ち込み，
ブラジル相手に先に銅メダルポイントを握ったのですが。。。
最後の最後で，勝利の女神に嫌われてしまい，メダル獲得ならず。
サッカー親善試合
日本代表はアメリカでメキシコ代表と0-0のスコアレスドロー。

Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba announces his resignation
Japan's Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has announced he is stepping down - and told his party to hold an emergency leadership race to find his replacement. In a statement Ishiba said he would remain in office, however, until his successor is found. His resignation follows growing calls from within his party to take responsibility for a historic defeat in July's parliamentary election. Ishiba took office in October, and has resisted stepping aside until now, saying it would create a political vacuum while Japan faced key challenges.
