竜王戦挑戦者決定戦三番勝負第1局，振り駒で石田直裕六段が先手番，
相掛かりの将棋。夕食休憩明けのあたり，石田六段が有利だったようですが，
佐々木勇気八段が逆転勝ちで，先勝して，竜王戦挑戦者へ王手をかけました。
ユニバーサル杯女流名人戦リーグ，宮澤紗希女流初段(7)が今井絢女流初段(5)に勝ち，
勝った宮澤女流初段は2勝2敗，今井女流初段は初日が出ず，0勝4敗。

WTA500シティ・オープン(ワシントンD.C.)，大坂なおみ選手はラドゥカヌ選手との
USオープンチャンピオン対決で，ストレート負けでした。
勝ったラドゥカヌ選手，次戦はサッカリ選手との対戦。
