西山朋佳女流三冠vs村中秀史七段戦，相穴熊対抗形の将棋でした。
村中七段が抜け出したと思ったところ，西山女流三冠も粘り，
たびたび互角に戻る展開も最後，村中七段が勝ち切りました。

本日はフジテレビではなくて，NHKで視聴しました。

女子シングルス4回戦，第13シードのスビトリーナ選手が第4シードのパオリーニ選手に
フルセットの末，勝利して，準々決勝へ。
第8シードのジェン・チンウェン選手がサムソノワ選手相手にフルセットの末，
勝ち上がり。
第5シードのシフィオンテクvs第12シードのリバキナ戦は大熱戦，
最終セット，7-5と突き放して，逆転勝ち。
準々決勝はシフィオンテクvsスビトリーナ戦となりました。

女子ダブルスカル3回戦，穂積絵莉・エイケリ組がストレート勝ちで，
準々決勝へ。
